  I have been to a dozen or so truffle or high end chocolate shops in MN and this one is by far and away the best. Robin and Deidre the owners are always very friendly and excited to share their newest creations. They are extremely creative with the style of their chocolate and are awesome about using local and seasonal ingredients. I have personal favorites but I have never had a piece of chocolate from them that I didn't like. If you are on the fence about giving them a try, don't be. St. Croix Chocolates is head and shoulders above the competition.

  I would give this place zero stars if it was an option. They host a caramel festival every fall. The candy store is tiny and you have to wait in a huge line to get into the shop to buy something. We waited for OVER thirty minutes and when we finally got to counter and ordered a caramel apple, they said that they had run out. WHAT???? We could see some caramel apples on a table behind the counter. Were they reserved for people that were not required to wait in line? Why didn't they put up a sign outside stating that they were out of caramel apples? Why didn't they have one of their silly employees go down the line and tell all those waiting that there were out of caramel apples? So we ordered some caramel popcorn instead. The girl behind the counter told us that they were out of caramel popcorn. WHAT???? Rinse and repeat. What a badly run business. Don't waste your time, this caramel festival sucks.

  Stood in line for almost 45 minutes, to find out they were out of chocolate eggs they promoted to people online and TV. 2 tiny boxes of candy not chocolate mind you . Like we thought we were getting. ...$57. Eggs were Gross!
